Recovery

Plan to rest for the first 48-72 hours. By the second day post-op you will be able to return to most normal activities. Most patients go back to work within three to five days of their procedure. However, recovery is individual.

You will be given appointments to return 24 and 48 hours post-operatively. Follow up appointments with your doctor occur at 1 week, and 1, 3, 6, and 12 months. It is normal for the vision to be slightly blurry in the first few days, post-operatively.

At any time during the recovery process, members of the Focus Eye Centre team are available to answer any questions you may have.
